Terms and Conditions.

1. Who we are.

Lumi Stories is a British Columbia, Canada based business creating personalized hardcover adventure books for children. You can reach us at lumi@lumistories.ca.

2. Waitlist.

Joining the waitlist is free and does not require a purchase. A waitlist signup does not guarantee that a product will be available by a specific date, that a specific story will be released, or that an order can be fulfilled in every country.

We may contact waitlist members by email about launch updates, product availability, early access, and related Lumi Stories news. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. First 500 benefits.

The first 500 eligible waitlist members may receive founding benefits, which currently include waitlist pricing, early ordering access, and a first-edition founder mark inside eligible books.

• 20% waitlist pricing: intended for Lumi Stories books purchased by the same waitlist account, subject to future product availability, reasonable use, and any technical limits we publish before checkout opens.
• First-edition founder mark: applies to eligible first-edition books produced for the founding launch run.
• Early access: waitlist members may be invited to order before the general public, but timing depends on product, production, and fulfillment readiness.

These benefits are personal to the waitlist email used to join and may not be sold, transferred, or combined with other offers unless we explicitly allow it.

4. Pre-launch information.

Lumi Stories is in pre-launch development. Images, examples, descriptions, benefits, timelines, and product details shown on the website or in social posts may change as the product is finalized. We will try to communicate material changes clearly.

5. Privacy.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and our parent-readable Privacy for Families page. During the future product flow, a child photo will be used only to generate a character sheet and then deleted after the character sheet is generated.

6. Website use.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or abusive information, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law.

7. Intellectual property.

The Lumi Stories name, branding, website, artwork, copy, designs, and related materials belong to Lumi Stories or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written permission.

8. Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms as the product moves from waitlist to launch. The version posted on this page is the version currently in effect. If a change materially affects waitlist members, we will make reasonable efforts to notify them.
